Jeffereson, MO - 9th Annual Shelbyfest 2015

Thursday April 30th
Shelbyfest Classic Golf Outing - 8:30am - Railwood Golf Course - Owned by Former Missouri Tiger and current San Franciso 49'er, Railwood is a great course located just 4 miles from the Capital Plaza Hotel. Cost is $28 plus tax for 18 holes and a cart. We will divide off into teams and play best ball to get through the course in a timely manner. To play in the Annual "Shelbyfest Classic", just let us know 2 weeks ahead of time so we can get the numbers in to the course.
See more about Railwood at : http://www.railwoodgolf.com/index.html

Registration - Register or pick up your registration packet in the lobby at the Capitol Plaza Hotel from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Dinner - Downtown Jefferson City is home to many great eateries and Missouri Blvd is lined with more great places to grab a bite. See the upcoming Jeff CIty restaurant guide for more information.

Friday May 1st
Breakfast - Those staying at the Capitol Plaza Hotel may grab breakfast at the Park Place restaurant in the hotel atrium from 7:00 am - 10:00 am.

Autocross - The first ever Shelbyfest autocross will be hosted Friday May 1st, by Gateway Classic Mustang and will be held at the Hyde Park Fire Training facililty located at 2304 Hyde Park Road in Jefferson City.
What does it cost for you to participate in the autocross? Nothing. That's right, it won't cost you a dime.
Gateway Mustang has hosted autocross events all over the nation for the last several years. They bring their seasoned drivers to help you learn how to maneuver your car with precision.
Here is the short list of info on the autocross:
Driver's Meeting at 8am (mandatory for participants)
Friday May 1st - Runs start at 9am
Option 1 - Drive your own car through the course
Option 2 - Ride along with an instructor in their car
This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to drive your car with the utmost in control and the first time ever that anything like this has ever come to Shelbyfest.

Registration - Registration will be open in the Capitol Plaza hotel lobby from 2pm - 5pm

Country Cruise - Seated along the Missouri River Valley, Jefferson City is no stranger to beautiful countryside and scenic roadways. Those interested in participating in the cruise should meet in the parking lot at the Joe Machens Capitol City Ford parking lot at 2:30 pm. We plan on leaving on the cruise at 3pm. Address to the Ford dealer is 807 Southwest Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO 65109

Muscle Car Heritage Cruise For Charity - 6:30-10pm - Sponsored by Joe Machens Capitol City Ford - Central Missouri has a rich population of muscle cars, street rods, hot rods, and other 4 wheeled rarities. We have asked the local and regional car clubs to join us in reviving the once active cruise in scene on Missouri Blvd in Jeff City. There is no cost to participate in this activity however, we encourage everyone to stop at the donation buckets and toss a $5 or $10 bill in to support our charitable drive (our local cruise in folks will be selecting the charitable cause so stay tuned for more details. Missouri Boulevard is lined with great restaurants which will make great gathering spots to check out some amazing cars. The local cruise in group has been known to bring 400 cars in for their activities so who knows what all we will see. If you show up on the boulevard in your Honda Accord to go out to eat, you'll get to your destination, but it will likely by in the middle of a sea of the coolest cars you've seen in a long time.

Saturday May 2nd
Breakfast - Those staying at the Capitol Plaza Hotel may grab breakfast at the Park Place restaurant in the hotel atrium from 7:00 am - 10:00 am.

Showtime - Welcome to Shelbyfest. This event is all about friendship, fellowship, beautiful cars, and wonderful people. The show will open at 8:30am and wrap up at 3:30pm. Show entry will be on High street headed from Capitol Plaza hotel towards the Missouri State Capitol. Don't worry, we will have more information as well as a downloadable map available soon. Show cars will be mixed in with display from some of our long running sponsors like Gateway Classic Mustang, VMP Tuning, Carroll Shelby Wheels, Gateway Performance, Croftgate Jersey, Ford Racing, and many others.

Moment of Horsepower - At high noon, we will continue a long running tradition at Shelbyfest. The "Moment of Horsepower" is our way to remember those that are no longer with us, say "thank you" to all of those that give of themselves to serve us (US Military, Police, Fire, EMT, etc), and to just plain old "let Jefferson City know we are here". You will hear a call to go to your vehicles and prepare to "rev it up and rattle the windows", then all you have to do is wait for the moment and fire it up.

Saturday Banquet - Our Saturday banquet is where we let our hair down and get to know each other. We will enjoy a delicious dinner in the atrium at the Capitol Plaza hotel (menu will be announced shortly) and have a whole lot of fun.

Doors Open at 5pm for pre dinner cocktails. Dinner will be served at 6:30. - Note : Seating will be limited so tickets must be purchased in advance.

Registration for the banquet MUST be done by April 20th, no banquet tickets will be available the day of the show.

We like to close out the Shelbyfest experience in style and 2015 will be no exception. Stay tuned for a special announcement regarding our Saturday evening celebration.
